The sustainability of the hut scheme in the DCF area has been under threat for many years, due to the decreasing subscription rate by residents.
The cross subsidization [shortfall] by Fidelity ADT has reached the current unsustainable level of R89 103,61 per month. Regardless of the shortfall, we wish to remain in the community and do not wish to remove the manned guard huts.
